BEgreen™ Pyro utilizes a patent pending process that incinerates municipal solid waste (MSW) in an oxygen deficient environment using pyrolysis.
Steam is produced by directly heating the MSW after it is compressed with a mechanical screw in a restricted pipe. Gases from the pyrolysis are added to CO2 and water in an oxyfuel furnace. Oxygen can be provided by pipeline or produced by water hydrolysis using the power produced on-site.
No vapor emissions are produced by the process. Liquid CO2, char, scrap metal, water, and clean electrical power are the products of the process.
